Privateer's
Hold
He awakens in darkness and feeling the ground
He finds some dry wood logs to start up a fire;
There are solid stone walls loomíng all around
With only a way out for th' Emperor's Squire.
Behind a door hidden hears a rattling sound:
A vicious rat biting his steel will require;
A stairway here opens, so upwards he's bound;
Though bats, imps, thieves lurk there to fight He won't tire.
He deals with an archer then comes to a great
hall;
A large stairway leads up whence sudd'nly descends
A skeleton warrior: its bones crashed will fall!
Controlled by a lever a marble throne stands;
By pulling He's lift'd up near th' exit, his goal,
And after a brief fight to outside ascends.
