So you wanna know something about me? Well, let's begin:

My name is GABRIELE GIORGI, I'm italian and I live in Rome. I was born in 1976 and last year I graduated in Economics (Iwould love to have a job, but before I have to finish that accursed civil service - here in Italy is mandatory, you know :-( ). What else? I still live with my parents, though in 1998 I spent five wonderful months studying abroad (in Madrid, to be precise), and I had really a GREAT time!!! There I also learned how to surf the web and how to build a web-page... so now I'm infesting it as much as I can !!! ;o)

And now my HOBBIES AND INTERESTS - in alpha-chaotical order ;o)

READING: among my favourite books (most of all, I read fantasy) there are J.R.R. Tolkien's "The Lord of the Rings" & "The Hobbit", M.Weis and T. Hickman's Dragonlance (I prefer the "Legends" to the "Chronicles"), T. Brooks' Shannara, U. Eco's "Foucault's Pendulum", K. Neville's "The Eight", S. King's "IT" & "Pet sematary" and many, many others... If I like a book very much, I usually read it twice or even thrice!!!

ROLE PLAYING GAMES: Vampires-The masquerade, The Call of Cthulhu, AD&D and many others

COMPUTER GAMES & RPG: adventure, strategy  games and the ones I call "never-ending" like Daggerfall, Darklands, Frontier & Firstencounter (Elite 2 & 3)

STAR TREK: most of all TNG; I'm a member of the STIC (the italian fan club) as well

MUSIC: progressive rock (Genesis, Marillion, Yes) and progressive metal (Dream Theater)

SINGING: I have been singing in many choirs and I also performed in many an "operetta" with my high school company

COMICS: Sergio Bonelli's purely italian comics: Martin Mystère, Legs Weaver, Zona X, Dylan Dog, Magico Vento, Jonathan Steele, Dampyr and Nathan Never!!!

MYTHS AND LEGENDS: I love mytholgy in general and Arthurian Saga as first and foremost

X-FILES: I pride myself of watching it while it was still far from becoming a widespread mania

MOVIES: I like to go to the cinema every time I can; my favourite movies are: "Blade Runner", "Bram Stoker's Dracula", "Ladyhawke", "Scream (1 & 2)", "Dead poets society" and "The sound of music" - yes, this one too! what's wrong about it??? ;o)

CARTOONS: strictly Japanese "anime": Kyashan, Gundam, The Great Mazinger, Daltanious, Jeeg, to name a few...

MY DREAM: to become a real writer!
